Author: Bianca Pena Rating: 1/5 Date: 1/9/2025, 8:55:07 PM Review: Please do NOT take your children here. The new owner Carolina and her manager Valeria are the most unprofessional people I’ve dealt with , especially in a place where they are caring for children. My son was repeatedly hit and bit by another child and they refused to do anything about the situation for MONTHS to the point I had to withdrawal my son. They would tell me “they didn’t see anything” and that there was nothing they could do because “kids are kids”. I was understanding the first couple times it happen, but at one point it became a daily thing. They have all the kids in the same class regardless of having special needs and the child is autistic. She expected me to let my son to continue to get hit because thats “what kids do” she said, even though this happen so many times I lost count. Also, they don’t follow any curriculum, my son is scoring lower on test now that he did in the beginning. I ask everyday what they do and he says “color and play”. They don’t send any work home that he’s done. Please stay away from this place. You will regret it like I did.

IF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS, I WOULD. This has been the WORST experience I could have imagined for my child. The school is completely unprofessional with terrible communication. The director/owner is never around, and there’s no management available when issues arise. My two-year-old was told by her teacher, “Mrs. Rosie,” that if she didn’t eat, she wouldn’t be allowed to play outside. On another occasion, my daughter was crying for me, and the same teacher told her, “Stop crying, mom is at work,” in an unpleasant and dismissive tone. What’s even more heartbreaking is that during drop-off, my daughter saw this teacher and immediately began screaming and crying, pointing at her and saying, “Mom, that’s her! She’s mean to me.” When I approached the teacher to discuss this, her response was unprofessional—smiling inappropriately, avoiding eye contact, and denying everything right in front of my child. When I asked to speak to someone in charge, there was NO ONE available. I’ve called the school multiple times, and my calls are either forwarded or completely ignored. How does a school operate like this, with no accountability or leadership? Please, do yourself and your child a favor—do NOT send them to this school. This was the worst first experience I’ve had as a parent, and no family should have to go through this. There’s absolutely no structure or appropriate learning environment for young children. Two-year-olds should be rotating through different centers—like the kitchen, blocks, playground time, snack time, etc.—to engage in hands-on activities that support their development. At this critical age, children should be learning to take turns, share, and develop cognitive skills, creativity, motor skills, and an understanding of colors and shapes through singing, storytelling, imaginative play, and interactive activities. Instead, I found that my daughter was being given “dittos” (worksheets)—which are completely inappropriate for two-year-olds. Kids are still learning how to regulate their emotions and understand right from wrong. Instead of using time-outs as punishment, it’s often more effective to guide them with gentle explanations, redirection, and modeling appropriate behavior which Ms. Rosie did NOT implement this, instead yelled at my daughter and put her in time out.

Excelente servicio.. me encantan las maestras son bellas personas y tratan a los niños súper tiernas
Prior to finding play learn grow of davie. I’ve visited quite a few preschools and I have to say PLG was one of the best one. When I walked in, I definitely felt the welcome by Ms. Valeria. School was clean and kids friendly. Fast forward to a few months after my kids started PLG. I had a concern in which I addressed with the staff and I have to say I was EXTREMELY proud of how the school handle the situation. Which speaks volume on what they stand on, which is the best interest of the children. Which propel me to write this review. I would highly recommend PLG if you are looking for a safe place for your child. The staff are absolutely amazing and sweet and I mean all of them, it’s a very clean preschool which is a must for me. I love how they send pictures and updates through there APP. I love my children teachers. It means a lot when I would call to check on them, even if it was twice in one day, they never made me feel like I was bothering them, but they would say call anytime. I have a peace when I drop my children off, knowing they are in great hands, which mean the world to me. If you looking for a great preschool I would definitely recommends PLG.
My daughter has been going to this daycare since she was 3, we first started with the Lauderhill location and then we had to switch to the Davie location. But let me tell you both places have been AMAZING. They’re so attentive and helpful and I know they genuinely care for my daughter. She’s learned so much and they also make it fun for the kids. Also the fact that they keep me updated through their app with pictures of all the activities she’s doing is such a plus! She’s now nearly six and on her final year and it’s so bittersweet. Thank you so much to the staff and director of PLG, you guys are the best!!
