Author: Mariah Parker Rating: 5/5 Date: 2/5/2025, 6:47:21 PM Review: I personally know the owner of this establishment and know first hand of the thought, dedication, and quality that she and her staff provides. They go above and beyond in providing evidence based curriculum and engaging activities for their students and parents. I would have zero reservations about recommending this facility for childcare and preschool to my friends and family. In order to provide appropriate staffing for the teacher/student ratio in which they deem necessary to provide this high level of education there are policies regarding notice of withdrawal, which can be found at all high level childcare facilities. The reviewer that found this policy to be unfair should really consider why the policy is necessary and beneficial to the remaining students. If you are in need of child care, you really can’t do better than Sarah James and KidCity.
Does this day care have monitoring cameras?
Yes
One review mentions the presence of cameras but also notes that parents could not access footage related to safety concerns, making the accessibility and effectiveness of monitoring cameras unclear.

Author: Axl Jones Rating: 1/5 Date: 2/11/2025, 6:15:19 PM Review: Terrible terrible place. It looks nice and there are a few nice workers but management is corrupt. Gave a 2 week notice and paid for it and still getting charged, which seems to be a recurring theme based from the reviews. Management lied to my face and failed to provide video of several safety incidences. All these positive recent reviews should not count, as the owner has asked people on Facebook to boost her ratings to combat negative responses. It wasn't a "quick clerical review" because your director was extremely rude about it and told my wife it was correct. Ciara went over the dates and explained how your policy works, stating that we didn't follow it. She also stated that your signature was attached for the balance being correct. My wife had to personally contact you because your staff isn't capable of handling anything or even relaying a message for you to look into it. Yes, it's fixed now, but only because we could prove when our 2 week notice was given since it was done electronically instead of being handwritten. You didn't even send us a bill and we would have been sent to collections. Why did you feel it was necessary to mention that it was a foster child? I had concerns about my 3 year old biological son as well. We brought all of the safety concerns to your attention and got hung up on. They were also brought to the attention of your director who lied about them. The feeding schedule was doctor approved, but you decided to feed my newborn 5 ounces every 2 hours and wouldn't communicate about it. I have screenshot proof from Procare about when the feedings occurred and the messages that we sent to your staff. What's the point of having a parent fill out a feeding schedule form if you're just going to do whatever you want? She was projectile vomiting from being overfed and you didn't care! You had concerns about our feeding schedule? Then why didn't you or your staff come to us about it? You're not a medical doctor to make a decision like that and had no concerns for what issues this foster baby had. We attempted communication several times and got ignored. Do you think placing a newborn on her stomach to go to sleep and then your director lying that she rolled over multiple times is ok? What's the point of having cameras if the parents can't ever see them regarding safety concerns with your staff? People can make mistakes but how they're handled is extremely important. We tried to communicate the issues and instead we got lied to, ignored, and hung up on. As a business owner, you should want to know about the problems in your establishment and should never react with the attitude that you clearly have.

My 1 year old daughter has attended here for over 6 months and we couldn't be happier. She gets so excited we I tell her "let's go to school." Teacher, staff, everyone has been so caring and excellent! She already knows how to count to five and knows most of the alphabet and I can contribute so much of her knowledge to her teachers!
I wanted to share our wonderful experience with Kid City! Since my daughter's daycare was closed for two days, we decided to try their drop-in services at the Anthony location. I have to say, it exceeded all our expectations! Everyone was so warm and welcoming, making her feel right at home. They even ensured she enjoyed all the Valentine's Day activities, even though she was just visiting. Because of this amazing experience, I’m excited to enroll her in the downtown location, which is much more convenient for us. I can't wait for her to continue her education there!

We loved Kid City! Our daughter did too! She was welcomed with open arms, well cared for, and the staff was amazing. The hours were super convenient, and the hands-on owners made a big difference. Highly recommend!
Our son started here in PreK, finished VPK, and is now a part of their after school program. We welcomed baby number two and she’s been in their care since she was 12 weeks. We’ve had nothing but great experiences while our kids have been attending. The staff love our babies like we do. When we pick them up, they are in the same state we dropped them off. Director is always communicating with the parents, and the owner is extremely involved. Being corporate owned, we know we are getting quality, safe, and well trained care for our kids.
We love Kid City! I highly recommend it, as they have the best curriculum, caring teachers, and classrooms filled with toys to facilitate academic and motor development as well as sensory exploration. 10/10!
The owners are great people. Kind and honest. She’s an educator as well. I would trust her with all of my grandchildren.
