This is absolutely the worst daycare I have ever experienced as a parent for 55 years and a grandparent. The first week I went in I informed them of the urine smell and I instructed them how to clean it because I had my own cleaning business. Following week the smell did go down. But it did come back. Also policies and by law daycares have to notify parents when a child is hurt at daycare The daycare does not do that. I have also found out by authorities this daycare is in the middle of an investigation through the department of children and families. If this post even goes up because they have control over that as well. I would advise parents to do more research and be adamant about it. If you have any concerns you go through the chain of command and if nothing is done then the authorities need to be called. And I will add my grandson has health issues and they have been instructed by the doctor to administrate medicine That was not being done as well. And his class every child was sick and no parents were notified as well. Which put my grandson in the hospital. Again I'm sure that this company is not going to post this so with that said if you do not post this I know for a fact that you're being investigated and I am not going to stop with this. It is unacceptable when it comes to children and this time day and age with COVID and children getting hurt and parents being blamed when most of the time they are in the care of daycares and schools and accidents do happen. This is a very disappointment and concerning I believe that this daycare should be shut down and that is the bottom line.
My grandson has been so happy and loves to go to "school" every day. When picking him up at the end of the day, he can't stop talking about all the fun things he did during his "school" day. Can't say enough good things about Jelly Bean Junction atmosphere and staff. Recommend to all looking for their children to have a safe. fun, educational daycare for their littles.
This is the 2nd daycare I tried with my daughter after moving here and to be honest I was nervous because the 1st daycare was so bad. I am happy to say I was happily surprised, my daughter loved it from the start and the staff communicated so well with me. I love that they have an app where you can see real live updates on what your child is doing, they even send pictures. We have been here for over a year and I recommend it all the time. My daughter loves going and even asks about it on the weekends. I have recently enrolled my older son for summer camp and drop ins and he also loves it.
Love this daycare so much! My oldest has been thriving since switching daycares a few years back and now my youngest has been loving this daycare since she was 3 months old. The teachers are amazing and Caitlin the director is always so welcoming. Recommend this daycare to anyone searching. Best in Brevard in my opinion.
My son has been attending Jelly Bean since he was a 1 year old, and he is now 7 in the aftercare group. Each year, he was placed with teachers who were caring and attentive to his needs, as well as accommodating to what my wife and I requested. He would always come in with a smile, ready to join his friends. On days when he was tired or cranky, the teachers would spring into action to help him say goodbye to us and then give him extra love to make him feel welcome. We feel so fortunate to have found a center where you are treated like family from the moment of the first tour, all the way until he ages out of the program (luckily, we have a few more years until that happens). If you are considering daycares in the area, this is a place where your child will feel at home with the love each teacher and admin gives. Your child is not just a number, everyone knows the kids’ names and are always saying good morning or goodnight with a smile. Thank you Jelly Bean, for such a wonderful childcare experience for my son!
Everything a daycare should be.
My kids have gone to jellybean for years. They’ve always been great with the kids but management has gone seriously downhill. They raise the tuition every 6 months. I’m paying $400 a week for my 2 kids to go there. Today we were 10 minutes late for roll call (still 10 minutes early before the kids leave on their field trip) and they refused to allow my kids to go on the field trip because they had already packed lunches. My kids have been signed up for the trip & are there everyday. That is absolutely ridiculous!! Why am I paying $400 a week for them to leave my kids behind?? Wow, just wow.
We have had my 20-month-old son in two classrooms at Jellybean Junction since he began at a year old. We LOVE it here! He is always excited to be dropped and hesitant to go home (he wants to keep on playing the day away!). The administration and staff are always friendly and professional. There is excellent communication between the school and us as parents which we are incredibly thankful for. The Procare app is easy to use and a great reassurance throughout the day to know when/what he's eaten, how long he napped, and if there are any incidents, we knew about them quickly. We love that varied, balanced, and healthy meals are provided. It takes so much our workload to know that he is being fed in the time that he is there without added prep on our parts. The facilities are clean and welcoming. There is always seasonal children's crafts and decorations on bulletin boards and windows that make days feel festive and fun. We love that there are monthly activities and goings-on that are school wide that allow for classroom participation and celebration. I would highly recommend this child care center to any parent in the Melbourne area. Thank you, JBJ!
