I would like to express my gratitude to Ms Germana and the First Steps school. Maria Laura evolved a lot in less than two months going to school. I am very grateful for all the patience, affection and attention that everyone at school has with her and my family. We recently moved to Marion Oaks, we are from Brazil and my daughter didn’t speak English well, but with Ms. Germana classes she is already speaking and understanding the new language. She can understand people and when we ask something she answers in English and that makes us very happy. Thank you, Ms. Germana.
I love it ms Grace is very caring and loving , very flexible he is learning every day new things .
My son really enjoys coming here and the commutation with the director and teachers is very on point.
Ms. Grace is one of the most energetic fun and loving teachers my children have been around, it is crazy to see how much my 3 and 4yr old has learned this past month and a half, they're both writing their names and drawing people as well as counting and learning numbers as well I know that every day they are there, they are learning and loved, thank you so much Ms. Grace for everything you do!
I'm looking to bring my son here! After touring and meeting the director and teachers I think this daycare has great promise. I can' tell the Director and staff are dedicated, honest and willing to treat my child with the best care and learning experience possible! The director expressed she lost her crew but still assured me and my wife that stable staff is coming to take over and keep the place in thriving condition. Love her honesty off the bat.
This daycare should be shut down! Watch out for this daycare! Teachers and directors are always leaving. One teacher did not have CPR certification, and I witnessed him abusing one of the little boys. I withdrew my son from this daycare immediately and now they are asking me to pay $380 because I didn't give a 2 weeks notice!
My two boys have been going here for about a month now and the new director is amazing. Not only does she strive for the best in every child, she knows every child as well and plays an active role in the classroom from time to time. All of the teachers there are so kind and patient with the kids. I would definitely recommend to any new parent in the area!
Picking a daycare for my baby was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. I consider myself blessed to have found First Steps (after being recommended by a coworker). My daughter loves when she sees Ms. Tapanga, and Ms. Rheamora! I'm able to check in throughout the updates and always receive a response within reasonable time. I truly believe my daughter is treated like family when she's at school, which is the relationship I wanted for her. Especially when she's there as often as she is. If you want a daycare with that "warm and cozy" feeling, I recommend just going in for a tour. We were sold within five minutes, meeting the teachers and seeing the classrooms. I'm sure you'll fall in love with it too!
The owners of the business, unfortunately, don't give this great daycare enough funds. The owning company has not replaced the carpets in many years. The amazing staff is underpaid and overworked. Everyone in that wonderful little daycare is so full of heart and patience. If they could hire just a few extra people, that place could really get off the ground and support the students better. Best of luck in your growth! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby.
Don’t bring you kid to here. They are unreliable and lacking in responsibility. I always respect to their teachers, but on last Friday, when I picked up my daughter I asked for the blanket to take home wash them. Her substitute told me “ I can’t find it”, then I asked her “ what she used for her nap” guess what she saying? “ she used nothing” , okay! 2 hours nap, my daughter used nothing! Also, they are changing new face every week, short on employees.very bad school
