Choosing a preschool for our child was a very emotional, daunting decision for us but when we toured First Pres it became so clear and easy. The warm staff, led by Amy Agnew and Paige Buck who are total pros in their field, creates a loving, fun and creative learning environment that is all about the kids and the power of play-based lessons. Safety is a priority and the experience of the leadership team is truly top notch. I couldn’t recommend this place any more. Our child looks forward to school every day.
FPP is a wonderful school filled with fun, play-based learning. Our daughters love their teachers and friends. They take the time to involve the community in learning with frequent visits of fire trucks, cop cars, and police pups, plus they take class buggy rides around the community every day to explore nature and see the beauty that is downtown Naples while correlating this back to what they are learning in the classroom by playing games and pointing out colors, shapes, and letters/numbers. We love hearing about their favorite part of the school day at pick-up and they both typically answer with "everything."
First Presbyterian Preschool is absolutely AMAZING. From the directors, the teachers, the support staff to the wonderful community of parents, it is a place that makes you feel like home. Most importantly, it is a place you can be proud to send your children where you know they will be happy and safe!
Our two year old daughter was left completely alone on the playground on a very hot day by two teachers for almost 15 minutes. It took the then-director five hours to call us to tell us what had happened. The director didn’t even tell us that she was left outside when we picked her up at dismissal- she waited hours after dismissal to tell us. Not only could our daughter have been hurt while she was alone, a passerby could have taken her. For people considering this school, please ensure that they have adequate safety precautions in place so that this doesn’t happen to any more children.
My children attended back in the early 1990‚Äôs I volunteered as well. Best early education!!! Was on a waiting list forever (it seemed) Glad you are still there üíú
