I was jumping from daycare to daycare but couldn’t find the right one for us. Until we finally found Mrs.Johnston who took us in and made us feel like family. Some of the teachers are bilingual and also teach Spanish to the kids, the school follows manatee county curriculum keeping the kids In Grade level knowledge. Food is cooked fresh and classrooms are always super clean. Very little does my son get sick which is very uncommon for a “daycare”. I am forever grateful to have found such a great community with children’s nest. Thank you Mrs.Johnston and Mr.Greg ♥️

I don't usually like to post negative things but I've been racking my brain trying to find a reason to justify this but I can't. The other day I was taking my daughter to daycare and I turn back around because I realized I had forgotten the picture frame that her teacher had her required us to purchase for the kids kids crafts. I pulled into the daycare parking lot at 9 a.m. sharp. It took me one or two minutes to get my daughter out of the truck and into the daycare. As soon as I walked in her teacher was standing outside of the classroom door, she told me I could hand her the picture frame but told me that I was not allowed to drop my daughter off because I was past the 9 a.m. drop off. Approximately four or five other parents entered the school after me. I went and talked to the Head of the preschool and she gave me this long drawn-out story as to why my daughter was not able to stay that day because I was "late'. I went on to explain to her that I'm a single mother who recently started a new business and that mornings can be very hectic for me but I had a job to be at immediately and could not miss it without possibly losing business, she continued to tell me I had to leave and take my daughter with me as I watched another parent walkover and sign their child into her class much later than I had arrived. not to mention the other four or five parents that had shown up after me. while walking back out of the preschool, my daughter's teacher calmly precedes to tell me that the picture frame but I had caused me to be a measly 2 minutes late (after collecting my child and walking inside), was broken Within The three minute period I had walked away. I then had to rush out and frantically find care for my child when so many others were overlooked.
