Author: Steven Huseman Rating: 1/5 Date: 6/1/2024, 6:20:42 PM Review: I can definitely say with confidence that I DO NOT recommend this location / Program. Quick Note: 2 of the 5 star reviews are part of the Leadership team which is falsely providing a higher rating than what it actually is. New parents: Ask about teacher turn over and keeping the building staffed properly. At one point they only had 7 teachers and 8 classrooms with only 2 leadership positions filled. They no longer have a dedicated cook and left that to be a collateral position. They claim to have a schedule set up for teachers to make sure that your child has a consistent teacher, but yet out children are always with different teachers. This school has been cited by DCF/Licensing for lack of supervision and not properly watching children while eating lunch (they went almost 3 minutes without watching the 1 year old class room eating lunch) We have also had numerous encounters where our child was sent home with injuries (bruises, scraps and rug burns) and the teachers have "no idea how it happened" and cannot document the when or where it happened. Parents with allergies: This location has been an absolute nightmare keeping our children away from their well known and documented food allergies. Teachers have been caught lying to management about "not feeding" allergen to them. We have a case where leadership didn't fully understand the food allergy and still served it to our child. Over the course of our stay we have a TOTAL 7 allergy cases in that time line. Leadership: A great leader creates a great staff. When director Kim was in charge of the facility, the staff were happy, well staffed, joyous and over a pleasant place to be. When Ashley came back... MOOD SHIFT! Teacher aren't happy, the resignations started happening and then the school started to take a huge downturn. This has been confirmed by multiple staff members that have moved into better opportunities. False Alarms: This location has a history of "crying wolf" and making parents pick up their kids for no reason. On multiple occasions, our kids have had "fevers" and had to be sent home early and kept home for 72 hours. When we get home, no fever, no symptoms, NOTHING. We were informed that they don't trust their thermometer and they always add a degree. I've picked up my kid early because of a "fever" before a holiday and magically he was the last on in the class, and the teacher was packed up and ready to go home. I've also received a call that a kid had a cut on his finger, they couldn't control the bleeding and was crying in pain. Once we arrived to pick him up, he was completely fine, just a standard band aid was used and playing perfectly fine with his friends. Finally I received a call that my child was crying and visible uncomfortable, itchy and breaking out in hives. Upon arrival, the employee making the claim said that he has improved a lot and the hives went down. When I asked my kid about it, he said he was fine, never cried and wasn't itchy at all. Final thoughts: Camera access was great to have! We still had awesome teachers. We made great friends. But, tuition is always increasing and I personally don't see why. They will collect your supply fee and then send you a VPK supply list to buy on your own (then never use the supplies) and make sure you plan your PTO correctly. They are closed the full week of July 4th and the week of Christmas.

Do not recommend for staff or families!! Childcare of Brandon used hurricane milton as an excuse to wrongfully terminate all of their employees leaving hundreds of children displaced to find childcare last minute - including VPK. knowing after the first initial use of a VPK voucher you can only transfer schools one time. To terminate all of your employees during such a devastating time shows your true character. Completely unprofessional and distasteful.

Además, no estaba contento con esta escuela. Asistimos durante 2 años y tuvimos muchos problemas con el personal y los niños que resultaron heridos.

My son has been going for 2 years and half. The only 2 difficult administration staff i would say is Ms Debra and Ms Dana. They make it difficult and extremely uncomfortable with me every single time with different stupid little things… other staff and teachers are all very nice.

I’ve sent my child here for several years and we’ve always been very happy about it. The teachers are all phenomenal and they truly make you feel like they love your child as their own. There’s one teacher though, that is just absolutely phenomenal. Ms. Susan has made my child’s day better literally every single day. She’s the only one my daughter likes to go to in the morning because she feels so safe and loved by her. Ms. Susan has always had the greatest attitude and upmost professionalism, regardless of how much chaos is going on. I truly can’t say enough kind words about her. She’s been SUCH a blessing to my family and every school/ daycare needs someone like her. We’re going to be so devastated when my daughter moves to Kindergarten and we don’t get to see her everyday. Thank you Ms. Susan, and all the staff for making this such a wonderful experience for us.

My nieces go to this daycare and they just love it here! Anytime I stop by the employees are very welcoming and the place is very clean and well maintained. You can genuinely tell they care for the children and are on top of everything. Would definitely recommend this daycare for your family.
