I am shocked at reading the 2 previous reviews, I didn't read the reviews before I registered my children, that was probably the best thing because this school is really great. They have a new director now and so far she's been wonderful and the communication is superior. My 1 year old son and 3 year old daughter have been attending Beach Park Academy for about 2 months & the staff has been wonderful at helping them transition from a private babysitter to a daycare environment. I always get daily notifications sent home on what they ate, potty times, nap times, etc. On the car ride home, my children are always talking about what they learned and how they like their teachers. I would recommend Beach Park Academy to everyone.
My experience has been horrible at this school. As stated by previous reviewer the doors are always unlocked and with recent happenings that is a scary thing. They can hardly figure out basic accounting and how to keep track of paid vs unpaid tuition. My child has gone through 4 plus teachers in barely a year there. The staff is completely disorganized. The building interior looks like its falling a part. Blankets are used as window shades. I don't even know if the staff is accredited. The current acting director has a facebook profile (public information) where she laments about how depressed she is and how horrible her life is. She also has an ALT FB where she dabbles in virtual D/S - does that sound like someone you want around you child. The owner, when called and made aware of the situation said it was none of his business and used profanity with me...a horrible place...I got my child out and on to a better place.
