Our daughter has been coming here since she was 4 months and she will be turning 1yr this month. The teachers here are great and take there time with the kids. Shaniah, Wendy, and all of the teachers in the infant room are incredible. They use a curriculum for the kids to help further the development of each child. Of course I couldn't forget Sydney and Heather that keep the school running the way it should be with integrity. These 2 young ladies are very knowledgeable and great to deal with. ----- Author: Gabby Maskelony Rating: 5/5 Date: 8/25/2023, 12:12:21 PM Review: We switched from a daycare that was not treating our son well, to this one. I was nervous to leave him in a new daycare due to our last experience from a different place but The Nest made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. The staff is always greeting me in the morning and afternoon, the teachers seem happy and are always welcoming my son into the classroom. My son is also excited to go to school which is a big change for us. Their curriculum is amazing and they really make sure that your child goes home with something new. I’m so happy we are attending the Nest! I would recommend it to anyone I know. ----- Author: Noshameofficial Rating: 1/5 Date: 6/13/2023, 9:49:51 AM Review: Wish zero starts were an option. I Wouldn’t send my child there if you paid me. The curriculum is terrible, school is unorganized. They often lie to parents about how things are ran and don’t really care about the kids just more so money . Your kids won’t learn a thing. ----- Author: JT Banchs Rating: 5/5 Date: 6/7/2023, 3:32:11 PM Review: Amazing staff! Great school with an amazing curriculum! My son loved it and enjoyed his time with his teachers and friends! ----- Author: Myriam Smith Rating: 1/5 Date: 12/12/2022, 5:09:55 PM Review: This school has teachers who have no experience in childcare working in classrooms with no proper training or guidance. These kids are not being taught curriculum due to lack of organization and staff not being properly trained with the curriculum. I was definitely not pleased with them at all.

My daughter is three years old and is on the autism spectrum. When we started her at The Nest I was very skeptical whether or not she would like it or fit in to my surprise absolutely fell in love with it! She went from part-time to full-time because my daughter was asking to go to school and see her friends. All the teachers including Crystalann, Miss Marjorie, Mrs. AJ, etc. have been absolutely amazing and I cannot say enough good things about the school. Do not hesitate if you’re thinking about daycare or preschool for your little one the school is the best in Lakeland!!

These teachers take babies that are scared to leave their parents and turn them into confident independent little individuals. All of this is completed by fun learning and exercises. Would highly recommend.

My daughter just completed her first week at The Nest schools. This is our first time trying daycare and I am so glad that we were able to get her into the school. Everyone has been so nice kind willing to answer all my questions and Harper has transition so well. The facility is always clean and I really appreciate how well they take care for my daughter. We are already seeing improvement in her social and communication skills after one week.

One of the best daycares I have ever seen. The teachers are so sweet and involved. I have never had an issue with them or administration. They are some of the most caring people I have ever met. I have never seen my son be so happy to see someone that wasn’t family. Can’t wait to enroll the next baby I have!

Teachers are consistent with their presence; our son has seen the same faces the majority of the time since starting. Teachers are super sweet/nice. At least in my experience fyi child started here @1year old. The one year old classroom teachers are golden they are what makes this place great. As far as the director and management it could be better and that needs improvement. As a parent, thank u y’all r awesome I also appreciate the photo updates on the app as well.

I received lactation counseling with Whitney at The Nest and I am very impressed with her knowledge & expertise. She is well qualified, compassionate and a great teacher! She will help you to identify any issues with nursing & will give solutions to help improve your nursing experience! If you need lactation help in the lakeland area, Whitney is your girl!

Let me start by saying that The Nest is an absolutely amazing daycare/school. I never doubted for a second that my baby wasn’t getting the best care and attention out there. It is perfectly clean and safe, and the teachers are amazing. Ms. Wendy is truly a blessing and I am so grateful she was part of our daughter’s day for the first six months of her life. If you want your child fed at a specific time, rocked a certain way, anything you request - they’ll make it happen. My daughter would get SO excited when I passed her off in the mornings, so I am confident that she was in great hands. The reason I am not leaving a 5 star review is sadly due to the business side of things. Disclaimer, when we signed our paperwork and did our first tour, The Nest Lakeland was under a different director. Our paperwork detailed an application fee/enrollment deposit (can’t remember the specifics) and weekly tuition rate. In the tour, we were also informed that the infant room is staffed at a 3:1 child to teacher ratio, while the law requires 4:1. That was a major reason that we chose The Nest! Nowhere else in Lakeland could we find that. Now fast forward to 8-9 months later when we were finally off the waiting list, and the price of tuition significantly increased as did the enrollment/application fee. I know prices will need to adjust, but it was a bit of a shock (and a frustration that we hadn’t been informed until we were being charged!) as the tuition price was already the highest in the area. It also turned out that the infant room was never staffed at 3:1 (again, different director giving us that information originally, so not a reflection of the current director). Not a huge deal, just felt that we were treated in a “take it or we’ll give your spot to someone else” manner and didn’t get a good feeling from it. The situation could have been dealt with better. We ended up moving further away from The Nest and therefore found a closer daycare, and of course had to put in our 30 day written notice informing The Nest that we were leaving. Our last paid day was mid-month, and we were incorrectly charged for the entire month only to be told we couldn’t get a refund for the remaining days until after our last paid day (after I was told I would only be charged up to our last day). Again, not a huge deal, just once again frustrating that the customer service and overall “feel” has been so negative.

We’ve been with the nest for the last couple of months and I can tell you they truly care about your children! My son has been talking more and has gained better social habits. You receive photo updates throughout the day of activities they participated in that day which I love. I would recommend this facility over and over
