Beautiful place for your kids!
TLC showed so much love and support to both of my babies over the last 3 years. Both my daughter and son started at TLC and graduated through the VPK program. They loved every minute they were in school and adored their teachers. Taylor has some wonderful employees that have come to treat my babies as their own. Specifically, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Heather, Ms. Neeka, and Ms. Olga. The center is small enough so that class sizes are small and personal and your child doesn’t feel like “just another kid”… but big enough to foster real learning through hands-on activities, projects, and play time. As a parent of young kids, it is hard to leave your babies anywhere. It was extremely difficult placing my kids in day care after being a stay-at-home mom for so long. Within a week, I had so much peace of mind at work knowing that my babies were in the company of adults who truly love and care for their well-being. Thank you TLC for being our home away from home for the last 3 years! My kids ALWAYS had a great day with you and that was the biggest thing for me.
my kids love it here. at first my 18 month old didn't want to go but they worked with her and now she likes going. the staff is really nice and they care about the kids
My daughter attends Taylor Learning Center and we have had a wonderful experience. She has attended for close to a year and we couldn't be happier! I appreciate the honesty from the staff when asked about her day. I want to know, as a parent, if she was upset or her day wasn't the best. TLC is small and it is refreshing that all of the teachers know my child and welcome her when she comes in each day. The BrightWheel app is wonderful and I receive effective communication throughout the day regarding my daughter's care. Anytime I have asked a question, I receive a prompt response from either her teachers or the owners. Thank you, Taylor Learning Center, for providing excellent care and peace of mind knowing my daughter is safe and loved while at your facility!
As a new mom it's terrifying to trust anyone with your entire world. That being said this is purely my experience. The first red flag issue was when I came in to my sons first day of "care" and a child had a wrench stuck on his finger. The second red flag issue was when I was getting told in the brightwheel application that my child was eating properly and doing well. But when I came into the facility to discuss progress it was the complete opposite. Not every child has the easiest time transitioning to solids but when that very specific issue is raised PRIOR to enrollment we were told it is not a big deal and we will feed the him no matter what. He came home STARVING and we had to comfort him because of the frigidity of the staff. They will introduce new people to your Child before YOU are notified. Then when my child was ABSENT updates on his status on the brightwheel application were given and we were getting notifications that he had eaten ALL his food and he had a wet diaper. When I went to pick up my child for the Last time from the facility the new teacher said this kid is so whiny. This day being the day he came home and was unhappy and not taken care of. People rely on childcare because it's what they have to in order to go to work. The bare minimum is to Feed a child. The bare minimum is to comfort a child and not call him whiny while he's pitiful crying on your lap. Kids feel everything and unfortunately for this facility they thought I would not be a proactive parent. If you can't handle being held accountable then don't open a daycare. Period. I have plenty of evidence and photos to prove my statements. My child is not a cash cow.
My son and daughter attended this school for a year and a half. My children and myself loved this school and the love and dedication these teachers give our babies. I very much recommend this school.
